Marla is a singer-songwriter, newly based in Berlin, Germany.
By travelling the world, the 27 year-old is processing lost love in her songs, softly picked on acoustic guitar. Her mellow dreamy melodies combined with a deep airy voice easily take you to another sphere.
After touring with David Celia in early 2015, she recorded her debut album in Toronto with him as producer and sideman. They have played over 800 shows across Canada, Europe and Russia with the duo “Marla & David Celia” and recorded two studio albums ever since. In October 2021 they released their 2nd album “Indistinct Chatter” via Elite Records which they toured intensely including opening up for Kiefer Sutherland.
After years of playing in the duo there are Solo plans cooking up - stay tuned!
